Safety
- We only use fillers that are FDA-approved.
- But we go even further and stay current on the literature and won’t use fillers that have any history of poor outcomes, even if they are FDA-approved.
- Anything we inject in you, we have already injected in several family members (they are always our first volunteers for new products that we have determined to be safe and effective).
Experience
We have been injecting fillers since they were invented. We started with collagen many years ago (when that was the only choice available). Then we switched to Restylane when it entered the market in 2003. And when Juvederm launched in 2006, we were asked to participate in the JET trial – a pre-launch clinical study of Juvederm.
Expertise
Our doctors have years (sometimes decades) of experience in the use of fillers. And one of our most experienced injectors – Pamela Miller, PA-C was previously a trainer for Botox and Juvederm injections (teaching other providers how to use these products.)
Our Philosophy for Injecting Fillers Like Restylane and Juvederm:
Our goal is to produce natural looking results. No one should look like they had something “done”. Most of our patients receive compliments after the procedure such as “you look more well-rested”, and not “what did you have done?”
Our goal is to achieve an overall softer, and therefore more youthful appearance. Everyone has a nasolabial fold, we just do not want a deep nasolabial fold . We can make some lines disappear, and others we are happy to just soften. We fill in hollows where volume has been lost. With revolumization, shadows that created a harsh look, begin to soften or disappear.
Replacing volume also lifts part of the face, such as jowls or the corners of the mouth that start to turn down with age. We target areas of the face where a little volume can make a big difference.
