ddx: psoriasis, chronic eczema (including tinea), superficial BCC, seborrheic keratosis
histology:  atypical cells throughout entire thickness of epidermis, and involve epidermal appendages, especially hair follicles (vs. AK)
classic immunohistochemistry panel:  Pagets vs. superficial spreading melanoma vs. Bowen's (see EMPD for detailed immunohistochemistry)
