AKA Wells syndrome
AKA recurrent granulomatous dermatitis with eosinophilia
pruritis is common
thought to be a marked hypersensitivity response to various antigens (e.g. arthropod bites)
treatment = dapsone, PO glucocorticoids
histology:  eosinophils and histiocytes surrounding central masses of brightly pink collagen that has lost its fibrillar appearance and is more amorphous (i.e. flame figures)
