Parapox
farmyard pox – collective term for orf and milkers’ nodule because both are related parapoxviruses of sheep and cattle with identical clinical and histologic features: usually a solitary lesion on the finger; resolves in one month without treatment (symptoms are milder than cowpox)
mnemonic: parapox gives you paravaccinia and the "milder" diseases vs. orthopox with are "O" so serious
