Please tell the staff members who answers the exact name of the prescription and the exact cost you were quoted at the pharmacy
Tip – If a prescription is not covered by your insurance – ask the pharmacist to send us alternatives that ARE covered by your insurance (and then we can just pick one that is similar). The pharmacy has more access to this information than we do. And this saves time by avoiding the common scenario where we change the medication to a second med that your insurance also won’t cover.

Yes. In fact everyone gets the “generic isotretinoin” because the brand Accutane has not been manufactured for many years.
For some reason isotretinoin has only “branded” generics with various names like Claravis, Amnesteem, Zenatane, Sotret, and Myorisan… not sure why they have their own names but they all seem to work.What if my Accutane prescription is too expensive or not covered?
